Memo to Actors, Writers and Other Artists

Your talent is a natural gift, respected and envied by those inside and outside the arts. You did not receive your talent in any acting workshop, or from any acting coach. You were born with it. Although the tendency for many of us is to use our talent to "make it big", the use of the gift is not just about "fame" or "fortune". You are endowed with special powers of communication. As the human population of the planet continues to expand, and cultural "systems" continue to disintegrate, consider using your gift, at least in part, to communicate to those with no other outlet or source the extreme urgency of changing various cultural "ideas" which have contributed wholly to the impending meltdown of "civilization" as we have come to know it in our lifetime.

To put it bluntly, the human adventure has been nothing more than a point-to-point straight line to destruction of the earth and extinction of many of the planet's life forms, soon to include the human species.

To put it eloquently, visit this site: http://www.whatawaytogomovie.com/ I don't know the producer of this documentary, and have no financial interest in it's promotion. I viewed the film on "Free Speech TV", and felt compelled to share its vision with all artists visiting this site.

"To Illuminate The Life Of The Human Spirit"

This site is presented by TheatrGROUP, a St. Louis based theatre company .

This site is not owned or operated by the Actors Studio, Inc.

I've presented this site because I love the Actors Studio, and have been associated as a friend since 1975.  Please don't send email about the Bravo series "Inside The Actors Studio". TheatrGROUP is not affiliated with Bravo Television or the Actors Studio Masters Program in New York.

At this site the reader will find a brief history of the Actors Studio, a lecture given by Lee Strasberg at a Friday session in 1975, audition policies at the Actors Studio, and links to books about the Actors Studio.

We hope interested parties will find this information useful.
